Breakfast in Hong Kong – Australia Dairy Company

A must-try place for breakfast in Hong Kong is the famous Australia Dairy Company. The name can be misleading, because there is nothing Australian in the food, just the name. All my friends who already visited the city recommended this address. We were a group of 8 persons and despite the very long queue, we were sited very fastly. The motto here is: Queue, Eat, Leave ! The prices are low, from 27$ for a complete menu. I choose one with a bottle of milk + the legendary Scrambled eggs.
Even if I don’t drink milk very often, I loved the packaging of this bottle. You can also find them at all the convenience store (7/11).
It is a place to visit at least one time, and compared to other Breakfast places in HK, the scrambled eggs were very soft and had an amazing texture. You will be mixed with locals as well as tourists like me.
It is located in the North side of Kowloon park, you can take the subway at Jordan or Tsim Sha Tsui – and walk through the park.
Address : 47-49 Parkes Street and Tel: (852) 2730 1356

Adeline Grattard*, the Michelin Star chef is preparing Baos while her husband M. Chi wah Chan will welcome you with Henry in the tea shop. I tasted a black tea and a Blue tea with « Tchin Toï », donut like bread filled with chocolate. M. Chi wah Chan had lived in Hong Kong, and there is a wink at his origins on the tea menu: you can try « Lai Cha », a Hong Kong style tea with milk. It reminded me the breakfast I had during my journey in this city. […]
