Honor Café – Paris

Little gem on the elegant rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré – inside a courtyard in front of the Elysee Palace, Honor café has opened last February. The location could not be much better: the 8th arrondissement still not had a place with decent coffee and Angelle Boucher and Daniel Warburton have brought a wind of change.
The espresso was smooth, without any sourness you usually feel in french espressos, which obliges you to add sugar for hiding the unpleasant note.
Another important point for me: pastries are amazing! The chocolate cake was a huge hit, it disappeared from our plate in less than 5 minutes! The orange cake with the delicious frosting was awesome as well. If you plan to go on a shopping spree on rue Saint Honoré, don’t miss it !
