Teakha was on top of my list of addresses to visit. I saw it in my cityguide, and their Green tea cheesecake looked very tempting. It is hidden in the calm Tai Ping Shan street, near Man Mo temple. The chinese characters « 茶 家 » are for Tea « 茶 » and « 家 » family, house.
They have a vast selection of drinks with tea, and I chose the Chai Tea Latte, (my favorite!) with the cheesecake. Their organic products are from Asia, and their pastries are prepared here.
I have tried so many Chai Latte in different places, I think Teakha’s Chai can be considered as one of the best I have tried until now. The spice was strong and was perfectly matching with my pastry. However, I wish the Green tea taste was more present.

Sheung Wan was by far my favorite area when I was in Hong Kong. It reminded me of Le Marais in Paris, and I came across many shops, cafés and restaurants. After having fried noodles at Tsui Wah at 3am, I was unable to eat anything the next day. I went to Pressed Juices on Hollywood Road: they have Juices, smoothies but also different flavor of almond milk. I tried their greens (N°1&N°2 : apple, celery, cucumber, kale, lemon, lettuce, parsley, spinach). You can also order by phone if you are on a cleanse.
When I said to the salesperson that I was here for traveling they recommended me to visit the PMQ building, which was just in front of the juice store. I was very lucky because it was the last day of the exhibition « Leather Forever » organised by Hermès. A craftswoman was making a Birkin bag and there was a mise en scène of all their other iconic bags.
Pressed Juice is located in 81, Hollywood Road & PMQ: 35, Aberdeen Street.

A must-try place for breakfast in Hong Kong is the famous Australia Dairy Company. The name can be misleading, because there is nothing Australian in the food, just the name. All my friends who already visited the city recommended this address. We were a group of 8 persons and despite the very long queue, we were sited very fastly. The motto here is: Queue, Eat, Leave ! The prices are low, from 27$ for a complete menu. I choose one with a bottle of milk + the legendary Scrambled eggs.
Even if I don’t drink milk very often, I loved the packaging of this bottle. You can also find them at all the convenience store (7/11).
It is a place to visit at least one time, and compared to other Breakfast places in HK, the scrambled eggs were very soft and had an amazing texture. You will be mixed with locals as well as tourists like me.
It is located in the North side of Kowloon park, you can take the subway at Jordan or Tsim Sha Tsui – and walk through the park.

Not far from the bustling Hollywood Road – on Gough Street, inside the concept store Woaw, you can find Elephant Grounds coffee. It is one of the two places in Hong-Kong to propose « Bulletproof coffee ». It was the first time i saw it on a menu, so I was curious to try.
What is « Bulletproof Coffee »? The barista explained to us that it was coffee + fat (Unsalted Butter + MCT oil). It is supposed to be very nutritious and healthy.
When I drank it, it was like a latte but more heavier. I felt really full, and had no dinner after.
You can have your drink with « Homie’s Cookies ». And only on Week-end, they propose limited edition Ice Cream Cookies. You can check on their facebook page for the flavor of the week. I was lucky to have the Chocolate Mint Pop rocks!
If you are in the area of Sheung Wan, you should definitely visit this little gem. There is also a small terrass where you can sip your coffee when it is not too hot outside.
